Hello! Bonjour! Hola! KON'NICHIWA! Guten tag! Ciao!

Hello and welcome to our new online magazine.

A little about us…Micro Macro Magazine is a contemporary design and culture magazine with a mission to celebrate creativity and connectedness. We take passion in covering the micro: zooming in on intriguing details, finding out what makes our artists and designers tick, in-depth inspiration points and fun anecdotes, whilst always keeping an eye on the macro: a larger picture on identity, culture, societal shifts, and wider perspectives.

As a new platform from Vancouver Fashion Week, our mission is to synthesise an array of insights into the art and design universe for you to peruse to give your brain a buzz. We are dedicated to inspire our curious readers with fulfilling content: dynamic, upbeat, and engaging articles and vibrant imagery.

Meet the team...

Faye is the Editor-in-chief of Micro Macro magazine, overseeing everything that we publish and writing a few pieces herself. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing saxophone, and drinking copious amounts of tea (must be a British thing). She is always covered in bruises from her newfound love of snowboarding, and is currently obsessed with learning about the behaviours of bears.

Our Creative Director Deanna keeps an eye on the visual side of things at Micro Macro magazine in addition to contributing as a writer. She hates sleeping in and loves learning new things. As a visual thinker she genuinely can’t function without a notebook to work things out in. She loves to sing (but won’t sing for you), cook (would love to cook for you), and people watch.

Patti is a stubborn force of nature. She is all sorts of creative and a serial multi-tasker. As graphic designer at Micro Macro, Patti is always on hand to talk shape and colour. She loves Architecture and Interiors, and even has her own fashion line on the side. Patti takes refuge in art galleries and museums, and people might think she's scary but she's really not (just a notorious introvert).

If you would like to get involved- Micro Macro Magazine is seeking bright minds to write for our online platform. We are on the hunt for dynamic, driven, and creative writers with a flair for language and a passion for the art and design world. We need you to have a keen eye for detail (the micro) and a wider knowledge of arts, culture, and society (the macro). We are currently taking in articles based on our current theme Nostalgia. If you would like to pitch an article idea, please email hello@micromacromag.com with subject line 'Contributor Application'.
